A work in progress... among a few that I have started and the many sketches awaiting their turn in the next few months; much is going to change as I am embarking in a new phase with a dominant topic among the whims... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known." - Oscar Wilde
Today's quote definitely indicates the journey to be shared ahead... One Artist - One View.

Hi Angeldust,
Thanks for Your visit at MuseArt.
I am walking around on Your blogs, and so far I really like what I see.

Is it?
Aren't you during the process very very inter-subjective with your working materials and tools?
And after the creative process, aren't your work itself most inter-subjective when the art is "speaking" to its watcher? I think You will find similar thinking as I have in te works by Susanne Langer and Daniel N. Stern.
Hello Anna-Lys;
I took a little overdue tour of Katie’s blog, that is how I found you…
Art is very subjective, so does this view apply to it always?
When I read the quote yesterday, I completely identified with it.
Up until recently my approach to painting was totally natural, not much “planning”. I was into letting it flow, and express (mostly) how I felt with some sort of mild direction.
A couple of months ago “I turned “feminist”, and became very focused as to what and how I wanted to say it.
As I embarked into some research I did not find anything that would approximate what I am working on, except a few attempts along the way – the most “successful” (as in known) over 30 years ago…
In that context, all that I touch, including the paper I am sketching on, is alien to the thoughts and feelings that are being noted for development, therefore, my “individualism” is felt as an isolating and isolated factor a this point…
When I will be ready to present this collection of works - this “defiant opportunity for dialogue” - I will be speaking from a platform that is not familiar or comfortable to most, including myself, up until very recently.
~ I think that both perspectives are valid for their own reasons, at their own time…
Does it make sense to you?
Thank you for your visit and kind words
